- [ ] Bank notified of India travel dates
- [ ] A small cash float kept separately from the main wallet
- [ ] Check card/UPI acceptance for restaurants and shops

## Health

- [ ] Prescriptions and regular medicines in hand luggage
- [ ] Basic kit: pain relief, rehydration, antiseptic, plasters, motion sickness
- [ ] Sunscreen, insect repellent and after-bite cream
- [ ] Reusable water bottle for filtered/bottled water
- [ ] Check with a doctor about travel health and any existing conditions

## Things to get

- [ ] Universal power adapter (India uses type D sockets)
- [ ] Power bank and charging cables
- [ ] Comfortable walking shoes, already broken in
- [ ] Modest clothing for temples and religious sites
- [ ] Light rain layer or compact umbrella
- [ ] Sunglasses and sun hat
- [ ] Luggage tags and a small padlock
- [ ] Small day bag for water, documents and a light layer
- [ ] Earplugs and an eye mask for the flights
- [ ] Any special snacks or dietary items you rely on

## Group logistics

- [ ] Confirm the final 9 travellers and passport names
- [ ] Confirm the flight times (TBC in the v2 itinerary)
- [ ] Confirm airport transfers in Kolkata and Jaipur
- [ ] Confirm one large bag per guest can be stored in the Kolkata hotel clock room
- [ ] Confirm restaurant reservations for 9 where needed
- [ ] Confirm hotel check-in times and early check-in requests
- [ ] Share the trip planner, food plan and this checklist with the group
- [ ] Decide who holds the emergency contact sheet and copies of documents

## Before you leave

- [ ] Online check-in and seat selection
- [ ] Download offline maps and the itinerary
- [ ] Set up eSIM or international roaming
- [ ] Charge phones, watches, cameras and power banks
- [ ] Lock the house, stop deliveries and set the alarm
- [ ] Share the final itinerary with family at home
